Why firms choose us
Brand work built by senior legal marketers, not generalist designers. We know what a partner needs the brand to do, and what a referrer needs to see.
-
Brand work that earns its place in the referral pipeline
Your visual identity has to do real work: confirm the referral when a prospect looks you up, give referrers something they're proud to point to, and stand up next to firms three times your size. We design with that in mind from the first concept.
-
A senior legal marketer leads the project
Not a junior account manager translating between you and a designer. The person you meet at proposal stays in the room from discovery to delivery, with a senior design lead working alongside them.
-
We design for the partner, then the firm
For a relationship-driven firm, clients hire a lawyer, not a logo. The identity has to frame the partners well on their profile pages, in their LinkedIn headers, on their business cards. We design from the inside out: what makes the partners credible, then the system around them.

Our process
A defined process, from first conversation to final files. Brand engagements add a positioning phase before design begins.
-
Discovery
One focused session to understand the firm, the partners, and what the identity needs to do. We send a brief beforehand so the session does real work. For Brand engagements, this phase extends to include stakeholder interviews, a competitor and market review, and a positioning workshop with the partner group.
-
Design
Concepts presented with the thinking behind each one, not a deck of options to pick from cold. The number of concepts depends on the package: two for Logo, five for Identity, scoped to the project for Brand.
-
Refinement
Clear feedback, swift revisions. We guide you through refinement with a point of view, not a menu of changes. The goal is a confident final, not a compromise of everyone's input.
-
Delivery
Final files in every format you need: vector source, print, web, office templates. Plus visual identity guidelines, basic or comprehensive depending on the package. We're available after delivery for the tweaks that come up when the identity hits the real world.

Which branding package is right for our law firm?
Logo is for firms that need a strong mark and the essentials around it, a new firm, a spin-off, or an established firm whose logo no longer fits. Identity adds a full visual system for firms rolling out across cards, letterhead, signage, and digital. Brand starts earlier, with positioning before any design, for firms repositioning, rebranding, or merging. If you're not sure where you sit, let's have a conversation and we'll point you to the right one.
-
How many design concepts and revision rounds do we get?
Two concepts and two rounds of feedback for Logo. Five concepts and three rounds for Identity. For Brand, concepts and rounds are quoted to the project, because the work follows positioning that's been agreed first. In every package, we lead with a point of view, not a menu.
-
Can you work with our existing logo and brand elements?
Usually, yes. We'll review what you have in discovery and tell you honestly what's worth keeping, what needs refining, and what should be replaced. Often a firm has an element worth carrying forward, a colour, a mark, a typeface, and the work is to build a proper identity around it.
-
Do you handle the rollout, business cards, signage, templates?
The Identity and Brand packages include design and direction for rollout assets. For larger rollouts, signage or full template suites, we scope that as a separate project once the identity is signed off. Cleaner that way, and you only take on the rollout once you know what you're rolling out.
-
When is payment due?
Payment is upfront. If you need a different structure, we'll work it out during the proposal.
-
What do you need from us to get the brand right?
Some initial time from the right people, mostly. A discovery session to start, and for Identity and Brand, the decision makers in the room or on the call for the interviews or the positioning workshop. The identity has to come from who the firm actually is, so the input from your side is what makes it land. We keep the demand on your time tight and worth it.
-
Can we upgrade packages mid-project?
Yes. If Logo starts feeling small once we're into discovery, you can move up to Identity and the difference is added to the engagement. There's no need to restart the work, and no penalty for changing your mind.
-
What file formats will we receive for our logo and brand?
Vector source files (AI, EPS, SVG), plus print-ready PDFs and web formats (PNG, JPG) at every size you'll reasonably need. Templates for Word, PowerPoint, and email signatures are included in Identity and Brand. If you use Canva, Adobe or Figma, tell us upfront in the briefing process and we can prepare those files for you.
-
Do we own our logo and brand files?
Yes. Once the project is paid in full, the identity is yours outright: logo, source files, guidelines, everything. No usage restrictions, no licence fees, no claim on future use. The work is yours to use however you need.
-
Can you handle our law firm's ongoing design work?
Yes. Once the identity is set, the day-to-day design that keeps a firm looking consistent, decks, social graphics, templates, event collateral, is exactly what our design support service is for. Plenty of firms have us build the brand, then keep us on to apply it. We'll set that up separately once the identity is delivered.
